I love to get my nails done professionally but I have always enjoyed being able to do my own nails. Although I think I do a pretty good job with the polishing part, I am probably just okay with the manicure part. Well lately I’ve noticed that my cuticles needed some TLC so I decided to purchase a cuticle oil after I did a little research. Cuticle oil improves nail growth due to the increased flexibility of the nail, prevents hangnails, and best of all keeps your manicure looking fresh even longer.

FullSizeRender (15)So I decided to go with Sally Hansen’s Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil $5.39 – this brand offers decent quality beauty products for fairly reasonable prices. It contains Vitamin E, Wheat Germ, Apricot Kernel, Aloe & Panthenol which increases flexibility. To use, you simply brush on nightly and massage into cuticles. When using during manicures, massage into cuticles, wash hands with soap and warm water and then polish.

P.S…I’ve been using the oil for three weeks (at the time of this post) and I definitely notice a difference in the softness of my cuticles and no more hang nails!
